Proportional valves precisely control output flow by varying the internal orifice with the amount of input current applied to the solenoid.  The miniature direct-acting PC3 has been tested to 100 million cycles featuring fast response, quiet operation, low hysteresis, and consistent flow “gain” throughout its range.  It is an ideal choice for specialty application in high tech market segments such as analytical instrumentation, testing and measurement, medical devices, process control, and also with factory automation.

These miniature direct-acting solenoid valves are perfect as a high value pneumatic interface, linking PLCs and air piloted pneumatic, or process control work valves.  We anticipate the A10 and A15 being logical choices for certain engineered solution opportunities, for custom assembly work by your value-added department, or for certain OEMs requiring an affordable solenoid valve interface.

Standard single solenoid valves require electrical power while holding the valve in the energized position.  The L310 Latching Valve needs a 50-millisecond pulse to shift from one position to another. Power is removed and the latching function holds the position, offering significant energy savings for applications when the valve remains open for long periods of time. Continuous power is not required to maintain the energized position, especially
beneficial for battery-powered applications or when continuous power supply is limited.
